Hi, I’m Phoebe!

I’m an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and Nutritionist, with a passion for supporting people living with an eating disorder or struggling with disordered eating.

I’m here to support you in discovering a more joyful and peaceful relationship with food and your bodywherever you’re at.

If things feel messy, overwhelming, or a little bit like a rollercoaster— you’re not alone, I’m someone who can help support you along the way.

Our Services

  • The initial session is a time for us to connect, get to know each other, and gently begin exploring your unique food and body story.

Some topics we might explore together include, what your daily life looks like, medical history, mental health, eating patterns and relationships with food and body.

During this session, I’ll also check in with you to understand your boundaries and what helps you feel safe and supported.

Time: Allow 60 minutes for this appointment.

  • The first few follow-up sessions might be used to revisit any topics we didn’t fully explore during our initial session, which is completely normal.

Once we’ve worked through the initial thoughts and feelings, we’ll create a plan together to work toward your goals and uncover what you want to feel and experience with food and your body.

Some sessions may feel easier, while others may feel more challenging—and that’s okay. It’s completely normal for the process to feel messy and complex at times, but I’ll always check in and make sure we move at a pace that feels safe for you.

Time: Allow 50 minutes for this appointment.

  • This session is perfect for those times when you might need a little extra check-in or just a quick touchpoint along your journey. It’s a great option if you’re feeling confident but would like some ongoing support, or if you're short on time but still want a friendly check-in.

Time: Allow ~20 minutes for this appointment type.

  • The exposure session is a chance to meet in person, whether it’s at a cozy café, a peaceful park for a picnic, or another setting that feels comforting and safe for you. This is a space where we can connect, and we don’t have to talk about food unless you feel ready to. It’s about creating an environment that makes you feel at ease, and we’ll go at your pace.

I understand firsthand how challenging it can be to step into situations that bring up difficult feelings or thoughts, and I deeply admire your bravery in choosing to engage in this work. You’re not alone in this journey, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Time: Allow 60 minutes for this appointment type.

FAQs

  • In my practice, I aim to create the kind of space I wish I’d had — through a neuro-affirming, weight-inclusive, and trauma-informed lens. That means we move at your pace, in a way that works for your brain and body, and with deep respect for your lived experience.

I know recovery isn’t one-size-fits-all — it's often messy, non-linear, and deeply personal. My approach is collaborative, relational, and grounded in compassion. I bring both professional training and lived experience to the work, which means I truly understand how hard it can be to seek support, and how important it is to feel safe, heard, and not judged.

Just know, however you show up — I’m here for you.

  • While I specialise in eating disorders and disordered eating (including longstanding or complex presentations like SE-EDs, as well as ARFID in adults), I also support people with:

    • nourishing their body in a way that honours their brain, neurotype, nervous system, and mental health

    • body image concerns and recovery from chronic or lifelong dieting

    • relearning body-led and intuitive eating

    • neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, interoception, executive functioning differences)

    • gut health and gastrointestinal conditions (IBS, IBD, intolerances, gastroparesis)

    • endometriosis, adenomyosis, and PCOS

    • vegetarian and vegan nutrition

    • diabetes

    • cardiovascular health

    • menopause and perimenopause

    • oncology support

    • disability and NDIS nutrition support

Not sure if what you’re going through fits into one of these? You’re always welcome to get in touch — if I’m not the right fit, I’ll do my best to connect you with someone who is.

  • Initial Session: $220

(Please note: food costs for exposure sessions are not included in the session fee.)

    NDIS (self-managed and plan-managed): $188.99 per hour

If you have any questions about which session might suit you best, or how this can fit within your NDIS plan, feel free to get in touch - happy to help! :)

  • You don’t need a GP referral to book an appointment. However, if you have a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDMP) or an Eating Disorder Treatment Plan (EDTP) from your GP, please bring it to your first session. These plans make you eligible for a Medicare rebate of $60.35.

If you haven’t come across these plans before, you're welcome to book a free discovery call—we can explore whether they might be a good fit for you.

  • Absolutely! If you have private health insurance, it's a good idea to check with your provider to see if you're eligible for a rebate on dietetic services.

However, just a heads-up - sessions claimed through Medicare can’t also be claimed through private health unfortunately.

  • If you’re someone who likes to feel prepared - wonderful. And if you’re not, that’s absolutely okay too. There’s no right or wrong way to show up. But if it helps, here are a few gentle suggestions to help you feel more comfortable heading into our first session:

    • Try to find a quiet, private space where you’re less likely to be interrupted (if that’s possible).

    • Keep the email with your Zoom link handy—you might like to star or flag it so it’s easy to find.

    • Set up your device somewhere comfy and make sure it’s charged or plugged in.

    • Think about what might help you feel a little more at ease: maybe a glass of water, a warm drink, something to nibble on, tissues, a fidget toy, a heat pack, a weighted blanket, or a notepad to doodle or jot down thoughts.

    • If there’s anything on your mind, feel free to write down questions or topics you’d like us to chat about. But if you’d rather just see where things go, that’s totally welcome too.

    • If you have any results or documents you’d like to discuss, please feel free to bring them along, and we can go over them together.

However you arrive, I’m so glad you’re here—and we’ll take it at a pace that feels safe for you.

  • Absolutely, I work with self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. If you're unsure whether my services are a good fit for your plan, feel free to get in touch - I'm happy to chat it through with you.

  • I completely understand that things come up - life isn’t always predictable.

If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice. This gives me time to offer the spot to someone else who may be waiting for support.

    • If it’s less than 24 hours’ notice, a late cancellation fee may apply (up to the full session fee).

    • For missed appointments, the full fee may be charged.

    • Of course, if something unexpected happens, I offer a one-time grace -just reach out when you can.

Thank you so much for your understanding and care.
